Multiple cows died mysteriously in Texas, USA. There were no traces of blood or struggle at the scene.

On April 19, a rancher in Madison County died on the highway. The body of a six-year-old longhorn cow was found on the road. The cow was found lying on its side and bizarrely missing its tongue, according to a news release from the Madison County Sheriff's Office.

The post described in detail: "A straight, clean incision, very precise. It removed the skin on one side of the cow's mouth, but did not damage the meat under the skin. The cow's tongue was cut Completely removed from the body with no blood spilled."

Officers reported finding no signs of a struggle, the surrounding grass remained intact and there were no tire tracks or footprints nearby.

According to media reports, after the first incident, five similar death scenes of longhorn cattle were found in different locations. All five cows had their tongues "completely removed" and were found lying on their sides with their faces cut along their jaw lines without any signs of bleeding or injury.

These bizarre animal deaths all occurred in Brazeau on the same state highway in Smith County and Robertson County. Strangely, both carnivores and birds gave the six carcasses a wide berth, leaving them to rot for weeks.

Two of the five cows that later died had abnormal markings and had their anuses and external genitalia removed using circular cuts, authorities said. The cause of death of the six cows remains unknown.
