The loss of life would be due to lack of oxygen if he punctured the lungs or if he lost enough blood so that his body couldn't get enough oxygenated blood. If real he's most definitely losing blood due to internal bleeding. I've heard of very rare cases where a knife of this size can cause bleeding to be 100% internal. Small knife wounds can do this if the knife is left inside.

I believe it's real...the stomach doesn't bleed profusely like our body's extremities do...if it was an arm or leg or other area with major arteries and vessels, yeah, I'd expect there to be blood spurting with each heart pump...not the stomach though...depends on where the knife cut.

Also, the spasm he had as the knife went deeper is indicative to a spinal injury, which is right where the knife would have been hitting at that depth.

Regardless, it's disturbing...if it is fake, the guy did one hell of an acting job, IMO.

Bell was born in Scotland in 1842...emigrated to Canada in 1870...emigrated to America in 1871...invented and received a US patent for the telephone in 1876...became a US citizen in 1882.

The patent for the telephone was granted to Alexander Graham Bell on March 7th 1876, at that time he resided in Salem, Massachusetts. Thusly, he was an American. Not only that, but it was the U.S. who invented the telegraph which started the building blocks for the telephone.

The invention of the computer is debatable, not many agree on just who invented the modern computer, so I was wrong about that. Having said that, I think we can agree that the U.S. was on the forefront for the development of the modernized personal computer. IBM, Apple, Microsoft, probably the 3 biggest names in the entire industry of computers all based within the U.S. Not to say that other countries didn't have their say of course. Japan especially being at the front of the technology field.

The car, I would say is debatable too. If I said that we invented the car then yes, I miswrote. This is what I've learned, and keep in mind it's been 5 years since I've had to learn this crap. If the video is real, it's highly probable the guy had snapped...perhaps he was losing his wife, kids, house, etc...and just lost touch with reality...obviously he was taping the suicide as a form of 'guilt trip' to those he was leaving behind (Poor me...you made me do this...look how I suffered...let this be etched into your brain forever and haunt you with guilt).

As far as being a 'man' about dying...honestly, again, if that's real...I think he died like a champ...that's GOTTA be fucking painful. But, he probably went into shock soon after the knife entered, and was probably not in a fit state of mind to begin with...I doubt he was in full control of his mental faculties.

Most people that commit suicide are so mentally anguished, they aren't experiencing lucid reality.

I believe it takes a 'weak mind' to commit suicide...weak at the time the act is committed...

But, I also believe that many factors can contribute to a successful, happy, level headed individual such as yourself and me to reaching a state of weak mindedness...

Addiction, desperation, depression, mental illness, etc.

Something brought that person to commit such an act...I think it's of great importance for people to understand what that 'something' is, to help it become a more preventable act, as opposed to just writing it off as a character defect.

And i also thought about suicide sometimes, but if you think it over, theres always a better way than suicide. This very moment you experience, even if its true or not, is more valuable than death. The joy of life is something you can almost always look forward to.

But if you think it over there may be a time when anyone will have to decide if he wants to live on or die. bad diseases for example. the possibilites are actually countless. I can't help but assume he was on a pity trip and was killing himself out of desparation, but filming it to hurt the people he was leaving behind.

It's all assumption, I don't know what the story is behind the video...I just imagine that he's trying to create some sick pathetic legacy behind by taping it, hoping he'll gain sympathy in death, and perhaps place guilt on the people that hurt him and 'forced' him to this point.

never thought about death. I've yet to see any reason NOT to continue experiencing new and interesting things in life. You only get one chance at it so there's no point in ending it prematurely.

I also figure that pretty much all people that kill themselves in any way other then an "instant" way hesitate right after going that one step too far, then wish they hadn't... then die a horrible regretful death, wishing they hadn't done that.

Suicide is just sickening. Unless you're dying for a great cause or something.

The loss of life would be due to lack of oxygen if he punctured the lungs or if he lost enough blood so that his body couldn't get enough oxygenated blood. If real he's most definitely losing blood due to internal bleeding. I've heard of very rare cases where a knife of this size can cause bleeding to be 100% internal. Small knife wounds can do this if the knife is left inside.That sounds logical, from my medical layman's perspective.

A friend of mine recently lost a couple of litres of blood after a dirt-bike accident. His abdomen swelled, and he could have died without spilling a single drop on the ground. Stupidly, he delayed getting treatment for ten hours. He'll be back on his feet doing reckless things in a week or two.

It's a very confronting video. I reckon many have neatly evaded this potentilally disturbing aspect by merely debating the video's reality.

I believe the video to be genuine. Regardless of whether the man died, this self-harm illustrates the mentality of one who has simply lost touch with other people, or is unhealthily obsessing over someone who is -for whatever reason- not available to him.

The fact, that there is no blood, is evidence for nothing. A single (small) wound, caused by a knife will only cause a lot of bleeding, if you hit a major ateria AND the knife is pulled out of the wound.
But i´m also not convinced about the genuinity of the vid (though the "actor" acted pretty well). There where the knife penetrated is no vital organ and death will not occure in a matter of minutes but rather in hours. Committing suicide like that will make you suffer for a really long time. Either this vid is fake or it´s been cutted early.

if this video was infact real it would've been kept locked away as evidence by the police department and never surfaced online. even though it's a suicide all suicide notes and or videos, drawing, etc. are kept by the police department. just like a knife or a gun used for a murder would be. unless of course as some dumb fuck on here would probably try to say "he posted it himself right as he was dying." or "a sicko police officer or family memeber kept it and posted it." yeah okay fucktard go huff somemore gass fumes. i'm sure a police officer would risk losing his job over a video on the net or a grieving family member would think it's funny to post the suicide video online. as for the lack of visible blood. that all depends on the wound itself. only a trained medical expert is able to say anything about that. my mother has been a nurse for 20 years now and she's sen it all. no matter what even if the knife is left inside there would indeed be some form of blood no matter how small from a puncture wound. especially with the way the man wiggled around. this movement would definitely switch the blade's positon in his body causing blood to spill. anyone who's ever ben stabbed or even pricked by a tack or needle can tell you you will bleed even if it's only a small drop. as for vital organs in the area he puncture durrr yes there are. he does it around the sternum/solaplex area which is where the stomach, gal bladder and intenstines all connect as well as the diaphragm and base of the lungs. this would cause a large amount of bleeding whether internal or not. the aorta is and pulminary artery's are also located in this area. you sever those and you're fucked. you will bleed to death unless you seak imediate medical attention. all of this shit together with the fact that like i said before no one would be able to post their own suicide video online lol. make it pretty certain it's fake. but maybe most importantly is that suicide is usually a shameful act. no one wants someone to find you. you don't want other people to see it happen. this could very well be a suicide attempt and the man survived if it was real or just some lame ass wannabe fake deal.

I don't care to watch this video, I have seen enough in my life so far, however I can tell you I witnessed a guy that was completely drug free pull his eyeball out with a pliars. He didn't really scream or make much noise other then grunting like an animal. Turned out the guy was a frequent mental paitent at the local hospital.
