Two female clerks at a liquor store said a light-skinned black male entered the store wearing black pants, a black hoodie and stocking cap and black shoes.
He told the women he didn't want to hurt anyone, but demanded money.
One of the clerks told police the man demanded a "belvie box", which is short for Belvadere box, where the store keeps their change.
The woman handed the suspect the box and he left the store.
A witness said the man may have gotten into a light gray Ford Taurus.
The man got away with $300 in the robbery.
